As a result, I don’t get the error message that ‘Facade’ is an undeclared identifier, and I can compile a binary using Visual C++ and run it. However, when I try to load a binary using Lua’s luac, the error message above appears.
How do I fix this?
Found the bug.
To fix this, you need to change the Lua file that LuaInterface loads from the lua.
Most likely the filename is lua_win64.lua, and it’s stored inside a folder called lua, or a subfolder of lua.
You’ll need to change this file to say:
local lua_lib = require « speedtree.modeler »
If you’re running an older version of LuaInterface, you can find this file in the following folder:
C:Program FilesLuaInterface 2.0lua
You’ll probably want to copy this file to a different directory, depending on where you have Lua installed.
You can find out where Lua is installed by going to Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment Variables, and searching for LUA_PATH in the list.
